South Lakes Safari
South Lakes Safari Zoo Visit!
Year 1 & 2 have visited The South Lakes Safari Zoo to further their learning in Science! Both classes have been studying ‘Animals, including humans’ and have developed a good understanding that animals can be classified in different ways and have enjoyed learning all about animal life cycles. They were lucky enough to spot lots of animals at the zoo, including: tigers, jaguars, zebras, kangaroos and rhinos! They were given the opportunity to feed the lemurs and the giraffes - making memories to last a life time! Throughout the day, children used and applied their key science vocabulary, such as ‘carnivores’, ‘mammals’ and ‘extinction’. A great day had by all! 🦓🦚🐅🦒🐒🍃
