Seasonal Quiche
D&T- Seasonal Quiche
Year 3 have had a wonderful time making seasonal quiches. As part of our Design and Technology topic, we have discovered where in the world we get certain fruits and vegetables, depending on the different climate zones. We have looked at which fruits and vegetables are in season at different times of the year.
We have researched the various health benefits different fruits and vegetables have and even conducted a taste test, in order to test which flavours compliment one another.
We put to test our peeling, chopping, whisking and grating skills to test to create our marvelous quiche... it was delicious!
We also remembered how to prepare our food hygienically.
