African Instruments

To link with our topic of Kenya, Africa and the story of 'Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain', the Reception children explored different African instruments including African gourd shakes, wooden guiros, wooden cabanas, rainsticks and djembe drums. The children enjoyed exploring the different sounds and continued to explore the instruments further during choosing time.
