Sports Crew
A small number of our Year 4 and 5 children have been invited to join our School Sports Crew. This is an important role as they are involved in the organisation, development and delivery of our intra-school sport provision. They meet regularly to discuss PE and school sports, listen to and share the views of other children with school leaders and, make recommendations for the future development of PE across school and support the deliver of events and activities. They also support our School Sports Leaders with the delivery of playtime activities and bring together the views of the wider school community. They work closely with our school council and make suggestions to school leaders about the types of sporting opportunities they would like to see offered at our school.
The children have even take on some responsibility for organising and taking care of sports equipment, particularly at break and lunch times.
