Sensory / Nurture Room
We have created our very own multi-purpose sensory / nurture room in school specifically designed to support not only children who are at risk of poor mental health and well-being but children who have a special educational need. We have been able to create a magical and interactive space that children can visit and relax away from the normal classroom environment. We have been extremely grateful to receive kind donations from Distington Big Local and Sellafield to help fund this exciting space. We will be holding some fundraising events as soon as we can to further support our development. This will ensure we can purchase and maintain a high quality area that will benefit not just the children currently in our school, but the next generation of children to enter our school.
